What is the Law Game all about?

The LLN Juris Club is partnering with Baker McKenzie, the Leuven Juris Club and Larcier-Intersentia to organize the 2023 edition of its notorious Law Game.
During your day, participants will be immersed in the role of a business lawyer and collaborate with other participants as a team.What is in store for you on d-day? Resolution of legal loopholes, negotiation, pitching, meeting and networking with professional lawyers as well as other law students, and much more. This year, in order to get even closer to the actual practice in a business international law firm, the Law Game will be held in English. Indeed, to meet the linguistic reality of our country, the Law Game is now open to Dutch-speaking students. A good understanding of English is therefore required.This Law Game, organised by and for law students, is a unique opportunity for you to develop new skills and gain an insight into the professional world !
This event is only open to third-year bachelor students and those completing a master’s degree in law.This fourth edition of the Law Game will take place on Wednesday 1 November 2023, from 9:00 to 19:00, at Baker McKenzie’s offices, in the center of Brussels.

Catering ?

Lunch, snacks and beverages are taken care of by Baker McKenzie. 

Language ?

The Law Game is organized in English. A good understanding is therefore required. During informal stages of the day, participants are of course free to speak the language they want.

About registrations

1) Fill the Google form by clicking the « Registration » button below. Registrations close on Thursday 26 October at 23:59

N.B.: Make sure to attach an updated CV. If you know someone who is also registering and you’d like to be part of their team, don’t hesitate to mention their name in the appropriate box. Your choice will be taken into account as far as possible. Please note that mentioning the person’s name in your form does not mean that the person will be registered. They must also submit their own registration form.

2) Only 40 places are available. If the number of registered people is superior to that number, the LLN Juris Club will make a selection.

3) Shortly after the closing of registrations, the selected participants will receive further practical information. The non-selected participants will also receive an email explaining the reasons why they couldn’t be selected.
